Required Skills/Experience:
• Labor and Delivery RN with at least 3-5 years of experience. Preferably in LDRP model who is trained in labor and delivery, post-partum, c-section circulation and special care nursery.
• Experience in L&D, LDRP and PP care. Must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment.
• Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM ( External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Start & Maintain Peripheral IV, Administer Antihypertensives and Insulin drips, Assist with vaginal delivery, Recover C-Section, APGAR scores, Baby Nurse ( “Baby Catcher”), Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Newborn Assessment, Epidural Anesthesia / Pain assessment & management, Postpartum care and Procedures as well as M/B postpartum care
Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 1 Nursery, Mother/Baby, Circulate for C-Sections
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating Shifts- Self Scheduling. Call is required.
