No block schedule requests. 48 hours per week can be considered but are not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
Blended ICU caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A-fib with RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR.
Uses Baxter pumps.
Shift & Scheduling:
On-call required.
Floating Requirements:
Float to Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients on an as-needed basis.
