Required Skills/Experience: At least 1 year of chemotherapy experience required.
Required Credentials: Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration required.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred.
Unit Details: OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases. Administers PO and SC injections, chemotherapy drugs, and other medications; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products. Assists physicians with conscious sedation patients and minor diagnostic procedures and treatment. Provides chemotherapy consultation and education, phone triage, and patient follow-up coordination.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift varies between 8-12 hour shifts. Open 7 days/week. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
