Preferred Skills/Experience:
ICU experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Patient ratios follow ASPAN standards and may be 1:1, 1:2, or 2:1.
The unit cares for post-op surgical patients, typically following general anesthesia.
Equipment includes cardiac monitors, IV equipment, SCDs, nasal O2, Omnicell, and a blanket warmer.
Patient population includes all patients except neonates.
Shift & Scheduling:
Must be willing to work 8x5 and 4x10 as needed.
Shift start and end times rotate among staff.
On-call is typically 1/week and every 3-4 weekends.
Floating Requirements:
Floating to other surgical services areas is not required but may be requested if needed and if available.
