Required Skills/Experience:
NICU-trained speech therapist required.
Pediatric feeding/swallowing experience required.
Required Credentials:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (from an accredited program).
Special Requests:
Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details:
Inpatient pediatric rehabilitation services.
Patient population includes children from birth through adolescence.
Supports children with complex medical needs, including dysphagia, tracheostomy, and traumatic brain injury.
Provides speech-language evaluations and therapy for pediatric patients.
Feeding and swallowing therapy, speech-language development, and video-fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS) are part of the role.
Conducts feeding/swallowing assessments and video-fluoroscopic swallow studies (VFSS).
Assists with discharge planning.
Educates families and caregivers on therapy plans and progress.
Shift & Scheduling:
Rotating on-call weekends.
