Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Managerial experience required. Med-Surg/inpatient rehab experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity preferred.
Unit Details: Dual role position. Free-standing acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital caring for adults with high-acuity rehabilitation needs, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Unit can be high acuity and functions similarly to a medical-surgical unit. All nurses are required to assist CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety. Uses ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Plus, slide boards, vital machines, EKG machine, BGM, and computers for charting.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and holiday rotations. On-call required.
Floating Requirements: No floating currently; may be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
