Required Skills/Experience:
Crani and EVD experience is a hard-stop requirement.
Must have experience in ICP or ventric.
Traveler must have basic arrhythmia experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neurosurgery experience preferred.
Epic experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
The assignment includes ICU and IMC patient populations.
Patient population includes ischemic stroke, post-thrombectomy and post-lysis patients, subarachnoid and cerebral hemorrhage, status epilepticus, postoperative neurosurgery cases including brain tumor resection and aneurysm clipping and coiling, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
Specialized interventions and procedures include hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia.
Shift & Scheduling:
Day shift is 0700-1930, and night shift is 1900-0730.
Shifts may be 8 or 12 hours.
4x12 shifts are accepted.
Every other weekend.
Some holidays are required.
Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
