Special Requests:

  • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role within an active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs.

Preferred Credentials:

  • ABL preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Unit Details:

  • Adult and geriatric patient population with cardiac disease.
  • Special procedures include biopsies, CVC, PICC, tunneled HD catheters, port placements, fistulograms, angiograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis, drain placements, ureteral stents, nephrostomy tubes, thrombectomies, thrombolysis, Y-90 treatments, and embolizations.
  • Cath lab procedures include diagnostic and interventional cases, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, EP studies, cardioversion, cardiac pacing device implants, LAAO/Watchman, TAVI/TCAR, left heart cath, right heart cath, IABP insertion/removal, ASD closure, percutaneous cardiac interventions, scrub procedures, pacing, IVUS, and IMPELLA.
  • Uses Omnicell, Siemens C-Arm (single and bi-plane), and GE ultrasound.
  • Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling:

  • On-call required with a 30-minute response time.
  • Weekday call shifts are 13.5 hours; number varies based on staff available to take call.
  • Weekday call days are selected in rotation with other team members.
  • Weekend coverage required.
