  • Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
  • Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
  • References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
  • Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
  • Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
  • Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract.
  • RN jobs in Emergency Department are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
  • Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation covering skills learned; must score 90% to pass.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Weekend requirement is listed as every third weekend; for nights, weekend shifts are Friday and Saturday. The unit profile also lists weekend requirements as every other weekend.
  • It is self-scheduling, but no shifts are guaranteed until the schedule is final.
  • Holiday requirements: Rotating.
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.
