Preferred Skills/Experience:
Trauma patient management.
IV administration of vasoactive medications.
Advanced hemodynamic and ventilator management.
Chest tube management.
Care of postoperative surgical patients.
Cardiac rhythm identification and management.
Hemodynamic monitoring.
Care of stroke patients.
Unit Details:
Procedures performed on the unit include chest tube placement, ventriculostomy, moderate sedation, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, ECMO, and arterial and central line placement.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week is an option.
Every other weekend (or 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period).
Floating Requirements:
Floating is to like units, including NSICU, Cardiac Telemetry units (4 North and 4 Central), Progressive Care Unit (4 West), Burn Unit, ED inpatient overflow, and other units as per overall hospital needs.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
