Required Skills/Experience:
2 years minimum cardiac experience; at least 1-2 years general OR experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
2 years of critical care experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
Completion of OR internship program preferred.
Successful completion of Period 101 preferred.
SGNA preferred.
Unit Details:
Hybrid room for TAVRs.
Around 3-4 heart cases per week.
Supports cath lab cases including TCAR, EVAR, and TVAR, along with vascular surgeon cases in the cath lab.
CABG, valve, carotid, fem-pop, and other vascular bypass cases.
Patient population includes neonates through geriatrics.
Shift & Scheduling:
Days/afternoons with 8- or 10-hour shifts.
Heart call: 10-15 calls in a 6-week period.
30-minute response time for call.
Sleeping arrangements can be made if needed while on call.
Floating Requirements:
Will float to the main OR if there are no heart or vascular cases.
