Travel Nurse (RN) - Hospice

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or med-surg.
• Experience working in a unionized healthcare environment (for RNs).

Unit Details:

• Delivers nursing care to terminally ill patients with a focus on comfort and symptom management.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team rounds, care planning, and family education.
• Provides emotional support, guidance, and education to families and caregivers during end-of-life care.
• Provides guidance and oversight to non-unionized CNAs and delegates support tasks such as ADLs, hygiene, and mobility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Must be willing to work both 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day shifts and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts, with possible weekend work.
• Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements:

• This shift will primarily be based in the inpatient unit, with the potential to support in-home hospice visits as census demands.
