Required Skills/Experience:
- Previous hospital experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Vancomycin AUC dosing experience, aminoglycoside dosing, renal dosing, warfarin, enoxaparin, electrolyte protocols, heparin, and DOAC experience.
Unit Details:
- Complex patient population including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, and ECMO.
- Performs IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed.
- Uses Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, C2 Safe, Sanford Guide, ClinicalKey, UpToDate, Vanc AUC calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp.
