Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with similar patient population preferred. Previous charge RN experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience preferred. Adult and geriatric patient population. Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Government issued photo ID.
Special Requests: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other/third weekend required.
Floating Requirements: Floating within the OSU organization as needed.
