If a BSN degree is the highest level of education, verify the graduation date and upload a copy of your diploma to your credentials.
Required Skills/Experience: Strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or willingness to work with difficult cases. Cardiac unit with step down experience required. Familiarity with chest tubes and drips required.
Required Credentials: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.
Unit Details: University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center. Mixed cardiovascular floor with half Med-Surg and half Step-Down patients. Cardiac rehab and pre/post procedures, as well as cardiac stabilizations. Monitors in rooms. May be asked to interpret EKG, monitor rhythms and rates, and collaborate with cardiac rehab, education, and discharge planning.
Floating Requirements: Travelers will be first to float.
