Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience: Experience caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients is required for this unit. Prior travel experience of one 13 week assignment required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience caring for post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients preferred. Experience caring for post neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains preferred.
Unit Details: Roseview ICU specializes in Neuro ICU patients, including ischemic/hemorrhagic stroke, neurologic tumors, and seizure. Also cares for general Medical ICU patients, including DKA, sepsis, and respiratory disease processes. Patient population includes adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Shift & Scheduling: Call requirements: None. May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. Schedule varies based upon department needs and can include weekends and holidays. Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Eve + Day = 1 holiday.
Floating Requirements: May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
