Travel Allied (CT Technologist) - CT

Required Credentials:
HS diploma/GED.
Completion of a Radiographer Technical training program from a School of Radiography or College based Radiography program.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, including on-call and holiday coverage.

Unit Details:
Monitors patients before and after contrast injections, assesses their ability to tolerate contrast, and screens for allergies and medication incompatibilities.
Follows venipuncture and power-injector protocols.
Performs Code Grey, trauma, partial trauma, emergency, and unscheduled CT procedures.
For urgent cases, images are acquired, processed, sent, and verified/completed in PACS/RIS; Code Grey images are sent to the radiologist immediately after acquisition.
Notifies the radiologist of unusual findings.
Maintains daily, monthly, and ACR QA/QC requirements.
When assigned as point staff, triages procedures, coordinates emergency and unscheduled procedure requests, and assigns staff to maintain workflow.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is expected to float to other Morristown locations.
