Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- C-section experience required; circulate required.
- Must have strong IV skills.
Special Requests:
- At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Unit Details:
- Couplet 1:3; laboring 1:1.
- Uses OBIX and GE centrally monitored telemetry.
- Cares for 32 weeks and above; otherwise transfer out. No VBAC. Magnesium sulfate and insulin.
- Mothers labor and deliver in one bed. There is no nursery; newborns stay in bassinets in their mothers' rooms and do not leave their mothers' sides. Skin-to-skin care model.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every 3rd weekend; could potentially be every other depending on need.
- One major and one minor holiday.
- Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks.
Floating Requirements:
- First to float.
- NICU for feeders and growers only.
