Required Skills/Experience:
Pediatric experience within the previous 24 months is required.
Must have completed 1 travel contract within the previous 18 months.
Preferred Credentials:
De-escalation certificate preferred.
Special Requests:
Former UnityPoint Health FTEs or PRN employees in the UnityPoint Health float pool cannot work travel assignments in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. The separation policy does not apply to former UnityPoint Health travel clinicians who were not FTE or PRN employees.
Unit Details:
Patient types include pediatric hematology/oncology, medical-surgical, and all pediatric specialties.
Shift & Scheduling:
Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.
No call.
Every 4th weekend.
Floating Requirements:
May float across NICU, B3 general floor, and PICU.
