Travel Nurse (RN) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Surgical ICU / Trauma ICU / Burn ICU / Transplant ICU experience preferred. Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Level I trauma center and burn center for the tri-state area. Trauma, transplant, burn, general surgery, plastic surgery, ENT, colorectal surgery, ortho surgery, and overflow medical and neuro ICU patients. Daily burn dressings are performed by trained burn nurses. CRRT, bedside trachs/PEGs/bronchoscopy/endoscopy, line placement assistance, travel to CT/MRI/fluoro, and large surgical dressings. Uses Pyxis, Accudose, and Omnicell.

Shift & Scheduling: Every Saturday and Sunday, plus 1 additional day each week. Call required.

Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
