Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Telemetry background required (read tele).

Required Credentials:

• Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to start; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension EKG Exam required; passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed.
• Epic test-out required.
• Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests:

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
• Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
• In order to receive travel rate, the clinician's claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules.
• Every other weekend.
• Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements:

• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
