Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant specialty experience within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Proficient in IV starts. Experience with telemetry. Competency with ventilators.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
Unit Details: Adult patient population. Cardiac medical ICU caring for ACS, acute MI, cardiogenic shock, post-interventional cardiac procedure patients, decompensating heart failure, and TAVR. Hypothermia protocol. Secondary diagnoses include but are not limited to GI bleed, chronic or acute renal failure, exacerbation of airway disease, diabetes mellitus, pneumonia, and rule-out embolus.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call: None. Every other weekend.
Floating Requirements: Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
