Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of pertinent experience. Strong robot experience required. Core specialty experience in General, GYN, Urology, and Vascular required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years in a non-travel position prior to travel preferred. Pediatric dental experience preferred, not required.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit and facility. Block scheduling requests during the week usually cannot be honored, such as 4x10 with every Friday or every Monday off. Some longer weekends may be scheduled during the contract period.

Unit Details: Cases include General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, Ortho, Podiatry, ENT, pediatric dental, and robotics for General, GYN, and Urology. Uses Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell, and Spacelabs monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: All shifts are between Monday and Friday each week, exclusive of call hours. Shift patterns may include 5x8 0630-1500, 4x10 0630-1700, 4x10 1100-2130, and 3x12 0630-1900; 3x12 shifts are weekend Friday-Sunday. On-call: 1 weekend day (24 hours) per month. On-call: 1 weeknight per week, 3p-6:30a. Holiday call if a holiday occurs during the contract, not to exceed 1 every 26 weeks.

Floating Requirements: Only within the department to the Holding Room.
