Travel Nurse (RN) - Neuro Trauma Intensive Care Unit

Special Requests:

• Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position.
• To receive the travel rate, the clinician's claimed residence must match the address on the driver's license.

Required Credentials:

• Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
• Ascension Pharmacology Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% score, 2 attempts allowed.
• Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Unit Details:

• Level 1 trauma center.
• Patient population includes MVC, gunshot wounds, stabbings, falls, CVA, craniotomy, aneurysm rupture, EVD, and lumbar drains.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend rotation.
• Holidays per unit need.
