Travel Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric Unit

Required Skills/Experience:
Recent general adult experience within the last 3 months is required.
LTC experience will not be accepted.

Required Credentials:
Certifications are required to be included at time of submission.

Special Requests:
The area is very rural, with limited housing options and public transportation.
RTO will not be approved in the first 2 weeks during orientation and cannot exceed 7 days.
RTO blackout dates: 11/2-11/6, 11/30-12/4, 11/25-11/30, 12/23-12/27, and 12/31-1/1/27.
Missed shifts must be made up prior to the contract ending.

Unit Details:
The adult inpatient population includes patients ages 18 and older with severe mental health and substance-use disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, dual diagnosis, withdrawal, and thought disorders such as schizophrenia.
Patients may require complex nursing care.
Care includes medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and recovery education.
Works with a multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
Provides clinical supervision of MHWs to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
Must be willing to take charge shifts as scheduled.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Every other weekend.
Possible call.

Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float to other units as needed.
