Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must be competent in VFSS (video fluoroscopic swallow study).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Some rehab unit experience preferred for travelers.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
The facility may make one-off exceptions for previous employees, but any exception must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.
Unit Details:
Treats 8 to 10 patients per day.
Common diagnoses include stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis.
Rehab aide support is available.
Shift & Scheduling:
Travelers have been working Friday-Monday, but this may change for vacation coverage.
Weekend coverage is required for the traveler.
Holidays as needed.
Travelers should plan to work Monday-Friday, five 8-hour shifts, to accommodate the onboarding schedule.
Floating Requirements:
Must cover ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit, sharing time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab; may float to Jerome Medical Center, about 30 minutes away.
