Additional Information
In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/TDAP declinations.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have been separated from employment for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
Required Credentials:
Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed.
Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80% or national benchmark, 2 attempts allowed.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Cardiac Advanced Device Therapy Management at minimum of IABP/Impella/Swan-Ganz management preferred.
Unit Details:
80% cardiac surgery and 20% advanced heart failure patient population.
High-risk cardiac surgery care includes open heart recovery, heart transplants, LVAD implants, ECMO, Impella, IABP, CRRT, and Swan Ganz catheters/CCO monitoring.
Uses COMPASS.
Floating Requirements:
Float PRN to MICU, SICU, and medical or cardiac stepdown units.
