Required Credentials:
Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from an ARRT-approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date.
Special Requests:
Clinicians may be eligible for an earlier start date if they have recent PA fingerprint results and PA Child Abuse Clearance results (obtained within <5 years).
Unit Details:
Performs diagnostic radiography procedures using complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data.
Administers PO and rectal contrast per physician orders and department policy.
Exams are coded and tracked, networked for archiving and interpretation, and charges are entered for exams performed.
