Required Skills/Experience: Strong neuro skills required.
Unit Details: Patient ratios: 5:1 days, 6:1 nights. Patient population includes neuro, neurosurgery, amputations, multi-trauma, cardiac, and complex medical patients, including trachs but no vents. RNs are required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab. RNs do not titrate drips; heparin is the only common drip. Uses tele packs; telemetry is not monitored by the RN. House supervisors only; no charge nurses. CPAP/BiPAP only at night for sleep apnea; nasal cannula and high-flow cannula available, but no heated high-flow.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holiday rotation: every other. No call.
Floating Requirements: Float to LTAC and Med-Surg; will not float to HAU unless trained.
