Additional Information

Parking is not provided; this will be an out-of-pocket expense. Parking pass: 1 day - $6.00 (parking garage), by the month - $37.00, per 13-week contract - $111.00. Credit card payments only.

Special Requests: No travel pairs requiring the same schedule. No special requests.

Unit Details: Conducts intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history. Plans and provides nursing care for patients and makes nursing diagnoses of patients' medical and emotional status. Recommends treatment options and consults with psychiatrists and other behavioral health staff to design appropriate treatment plans. Administers psychotropic drugs and other medications and notes reactions. Arranges further medical attention when necessary and assists clients in understanding emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients. Assesses vital signs and pain and ensures pain treatment. Documents patient information on medical charts, follows physician orders, and maintains accurate records of treatments, immunizations, and laboratory results. Includes administrative duties such as filing, answering phones, typing, and completing progress notes in the computer system. Charge duties per unit needs.

Shift & Scheduling: Straight nights only. No straight day shifts. Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs.
