Travel Nurse (RN) - Oncology Clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be proficient with IV insertion.
• Chemotherapy experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Ambulatory infusion experience preferred.

Unit Details:

• Provides care in a fast-paced ambulatory infusion setting for oncology and non-oncology patients.
• Administers chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, blood products, and supportive therapies.
• Provides continuous patient monitoring and responds to infusion reactions, emergent situations, and urgent clinical changes.
• Performs peripheral IV insertion and blood draws; accesses, maintains, and de-accesses central lines, including PICCs, ports, and CVCs.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and provides patient and caregiver education.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.
• Shift times include 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with staggered options of 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating is limited to chemotherapy and non-oncology areas.
