Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2 years working in one location; and 2 years working as a traveler.
• Basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, and multispecialty competence. Experience with Mako and Davinci systems.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Scrub experience preferred.

Required Credentials:

• Contingent/temp licensure is not accepted.

Unit Details:

• Level III Trauma OR in a complex community setting.
• Patient population: pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Uses Mako and Da Vinci systems.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Flexible contract hours: 36 or 40 per week.
• Shift pattern: 4x10's or 2x10's or 2x8's.
• Mostly evenings: 9:00am -7:30pm, 10:00am - 8:30pm, 2:00pm-12:30pm and 8:00am to 6:30pm.
• Day rotate requires rotation to 2-3 evenings per 4-week schedule. Weekend rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule. Rotation is not required for night shift.
• On-call required: 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule, and 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekend shift will include call. (Example: Working Sat. from 7a-5:30p, Call will be from 5:30p – 11p).
