Required Skills/Experience:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in OR for cesarean sections.

Special Requests:

  • Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
  • Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details:

  • L&D/PP/MB unit.
  • Common patient types include LDRP, obstetrical emergencies, hypertension, and hemorrhage.
  • RNs titrate drips including Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, and Labetalol.
  • OB techs on unit.
  • OB/Neonatologist not in house 24/7.
  • RT equipment includes 2 vents and 2 Bubble CPAP.
  • Telemetry is available; RNs read strips in OB, and monitor techs are upstairs if continuous monitoring is required.
  • EFM system: GE Centricity.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority.
  • Holiday requirement: Per ONA contract.
  • 2 - 12 hour call shifts every 4 weeks.
  • Yearly core schedules in place.

Floating Requirements:

  • Closed unit, unless emergency measures are in place.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
