Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: Adult critical care, emergency department, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, oral/nasal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, suctioning (ETT, NT), tracheostomy care/management, hand held, T-piece, trach collar, bag and mask, ET tube, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and long term care experience.
Unit Details: Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, pneumonia, respiratory failure, and respiratory infections. ABG sampling, ventilator management, patient assessment skills, medication administration, and pulmonary hygiene. Uses Hamilton Vent, Servo-U, NKV330, and V60.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend (4 rotating weekend shifts a month). On-call required.
