RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias required. Trauma experience. Blood product administration, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, starting IVs, insulin, PCA, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, peripheral nerve block catheters, total joint replacements, surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Required Credentials: Must pass Relias EKG exam.
Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.
Special Requests: Local candidates not accepted within 75 mile radius. No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract. If a shift is missed, please work to make it up as soon as possible if able.
Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Patients come from the ED, OR, or ICU. Cares for geriatric trauma patients age 55+ with trauma, trauma patients including abuse/violence victims, MVA, MVC, and falls, and acute care surgery patients including appendicitis, gallbladders, hernia repairs, fistulas, wounds, burns, and TBI.
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend required. No call required.
Floating Requirements: Float within scope and service line to meet facility needs.
