Travel Nurse (RN) - Nurse Management

Required Skills/Experience: Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required. 2 plus years of charge/lead experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Five years' technical experience preferred. Trauma experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Master's degree preferred. Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification preferred.

Unit Details: Provides unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff. Supervises and directs assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Participates in patient care as needed. Assesses staffing requirements on an ongoing basis, assigns staff according to patient acuity and needs, and reviews requests to adjust schedules. Plays a significant role in evaluation of performance of unit employees and is directly involved in decisions to hire and terminate unit personnel.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri 0500 to 1700. Schedule and start times rotate. No call.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
