Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Previous Employment Requirements: Previous Perm Staff, not eligible to be submitted as travelers

Required Skills/Experience: Scrub experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro, vascular, and not only scrub general, GYN, GU.

Unit/Facility Details: Surgical services- gen, gyn, gu, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pedi, trauma, spine. Must be competent in at least 5 of the services listed above, excellent communication skills.

Shift & Scheduling: Start times of 7a on day shift, and 9a and 11a on evenings. Every 3rd weekend as needed, Every other holiday. On call: 1x per schedule.

Floating Requirements: May float to Moakley OR if needed.
