Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Need recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Pass/fail open-book exam on Friday during orientation; all necessary resources are provided, a 90% score is required to pass, and failure to pass will result in contract termination.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. 50-mile radius rule applies. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submission.

Unit Details: Ratios: 1:4 in zones, 1:6 in Fast Track, 1:5 in OBS, 1:1 ICU/Trauma. Common diagnoses/types of patients: trauma, sepsis, chest pain, shortness of breath, strokes with TPA. Common drips seen in Level I trauma ERs. RNs must read and interpret their own strips. Fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirements vary based on department needs. Holiday requirements vary based on department needs.

Floating Requirements: Will float to OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER at least once a week.
