You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Level 1 or similar size hospital experience with high-caliber complex surgeries required. Must have Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area (3 or above) experience. Strongest skills should be in cardiac/thoracic: ECMO, CABG (coronary artery bypass graft), ascending, LVAD, thoracic, thoracic robot da Vinci Xi, lobectomy, mitral valves, VATS, lung resection.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Work with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care in the operating room in a timely manner. Communicate and coordinate operating room activities to facilitate efficiency in surgical case progression and turnover between cases. Implement safe, competent, and efficient patient and family care within policies, procedures, and standards of care for perioperative patients based on level of complexity. Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/evening, 12-hour shifts, 0640-1910 with a potential of 1 shift that is 0940-2210 biweekly. Weekday and weekend call required.
