Travel Nurse (RN) - Dialysis Unit

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Competent to run hemodialysis treatments on Fresenius 2008T.

Unit Details:

• Ratios: 1:1 up to 1:5 with dialysis tech assistance.
• Performs dialysis treatments and monitors patients.
• Provides care on the dialysis unit to general medical-surgical patients; off-unit ICU or stepdown dialysis runs are handled by the bedside RN and RT.
• Patients may use CPAP or BiPAP while on the unit.
• RNs do not need to read telemetry.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other Saturday, with one Sunday approximately every 8 weeks.
• Every other holiday; closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• No call or standby requirement.

Floating Requirements:

• May float to general medical-surgical floors only as helping hands, sitter, or behavioral health monitor; would not be assigned patients.
