Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:
6 months of Med-Surg experience in the past year.
Must be able to function independently in the ER and in the Med-Surg unit with up to 5 patients.

Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Must disclose in the submission if you have ever worked for Sanford Health.
If you previously worked with Sanford Health, you must have an end date 6 months prior to your submission date.

Unit Details:
The assignment includes Med-Surg and ER nursing.
The Med-Surg nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 3 to 4 to one, depending on census and acuity.
Uses Pyxis medication dispensing system.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule rotates between day and night shifts.
The schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage.
3 call shifts are required in a 13-week contract.

Floating Requirements:
Will float between the ER and Med-Surg units.
