Additional Information
Required Skills/Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience with previous chemotherapy administration.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Vascular access preferred.
Required Credentials:
- ONC certification required.
- ACLS is acceptable in lieu of BLS.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday schedule with 1 day off each week.
Unit Details:
- St. Vincent Cancer Center located at St. Anne Hospital.
- About 7-9 injections/infusions per day.
- Administers chemotherapy and other medications, starts IVs, places peripheral and central lines, transfuses blood and blood products, and performs therapeutic phlebotomies.
- Uses Omnicell, Alaris pumps, and Infusystem pumps.
- Patient population includes neonates through adolescents.
