Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within last 3 years.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
  • Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials:

  • Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.

Special Requests:

  • Must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details:

  • Neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
  • Provides comprehensive emergency care and rapid stabilization for admission or transfer.
  • Level IV Trauma Center, Acute Stroke Ready Center, and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department.
  • Coordinates closely with ground ambulance services and Med Flight for critically ill and injured patients.
  • ED nursing and ED tech staff serve as the hospital’s rapid response team throughout the facility.
  • Includes vertical care spaces and flex capacity during periods of high volume.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Evening/Nights, 12 and 8-hr shifts as needed, primary shifts will be 1100 - 2330 or 1500 - 0330.
  • Weekend and holiday rotation based on operational need.

Floating Requirements:

  • Floating required: UW University.
