References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
3 years CVOR circulating experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Scrubbing is not required for RNs, but scrub experience is preferred.
Special Requests:
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Daily parking costs $15+/day; monthly on- or off-campus garage and lot passes range from $95 - $120.
Unit Details:
The CVOR handles 20 cases per day.
Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics (thoracic and cardiac), peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO.
The program is high acuity, and circulating occurs in a fast-paced, complex cardiovascular and thoracic environment.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts may be 8s or 10s.
Shifts are 645a - 315p or 645a - 515p, Monday-Friday.
Call minimum: 1 weekday and 1 full weekend per month, possibly more (varies based on staffing).
Call response time is 30 min.
Holiday coverage is required.
