Required Skills/Experience: Experience with pre/post Cath Lab patients and vents/trachs required.
Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.
Unit Details: Cardiac Unit 3B. Cares for post cardiac cath, post pacer, post MitraClip, post TAVR, new onset A-fib, chest pain, COPD, and heart failure patients. Adult and geriatric patients. Drips: Cardizem, Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, Insulin. Lines/drains/devices: Figure 8 stitch, Angio-Seal, FemoStop for post-cath patients. Oxygen modalities: vents/trachs, trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, heated high flow, high flow nasal cannula, nasal cannula. Charge nurses take patient assignments and are in ratio.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday. Weekender contract. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Schedule options: for 36 hours, F, S, S or S, S, M; for 48 hours, F, S, S, M.
