Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Additional Details:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.

Required Skills/Experience: • Telemetry Interpretation • Telemetry monitoring

Preferred Skills/Experience: Oncology experience preferred but not required

Unit Facility Details: • 17 James cares for ALL solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care. • Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls • Cares for patients that have true med surg issues

Shift & Scheduling:

• Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) -Weekends - variable based on unit needs -No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff -If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for nights or a mix of shifts based on department priorities. Shift assignments are assessed every 4-week scheduling period. *Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule *First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor

Floating Requirements: Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units
