Required Skills/Experience:
2 years of level 2 or higher NICU experience is required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Well newborn nursery experience is preferred.
Unit Details:
The assignment is in a level 2 NICU.
Patient population includes laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns.
Common diagnoses/treatments include respiratory distress and hypoglycemia.
NICU equipment includes CPAP, ventilators, UVCs, and IVs.
Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend coverage is every 3rd weekend/as needed.
There is no call.
Floating Requirements:
Floats to postpartum/well-baby nursery.
