Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience: Neuro experience does not qualify in place of CVICU experience. Ventilator management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management, pacemakers, Impella, balloon pumps, LVADs, vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, dialysis, Foley, and intra-aortic balloon pump experience.

Required Credentials: Clinicians who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold a MO, IL, or compact license require an extended licensing and compliance timeframe. Relias EKG exam required.

Special Requests: Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility. For time off, will allow up to 2 requests, no more than a total of 40 hours (5 days) of time off during contract.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. High-acuity CCU/CVICU caring for acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post-cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, and ventricular tachycardia.

Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call. Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.

Floating Requirements: Float within service line when needed.
