RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Cannot be currently or recently (within 6 months) employed with network - Must have left in good status, if former employee.

Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, Medications, Neurological, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG

Preferred Skills/Experience: Preferred Skills: Arterial line management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi

Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: No Fee -Must have a vehicle for this assignment -If floating consecutive shifts, they will be additionally offered a hotel.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • (07:00 - 19:00) (19:00 - 07:00) -Is on-call required? No -Are weekends required? Yes at least every other -Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)

Floating Requirements: AYA Healthcare professionals may be required to float to other units and facilities in order to meet the needs of PH&S. Facilities: Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
