Additional Details:
In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license.
Required Credentials: Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Unit Details: Very fast-paced, high-acuity critical care department. Provides care to some of the most critically ill patients in the Nashville area and frequently receives patients from across Tennessee and beyond. Major service lines are cardiothoracic surgery (open heart recovery) and neuro/neurosurgery. Provides ICU-level care up to extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). Patient population includes cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, s/p cardiopulmonary arrest, and post ventricular assist device placement. Serves adolescent through late adult patients (14-60+).
Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Previous Employment Requirements: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
